Nashawn Weathersby 4w ago It is incredibly upsetting to watch the way people act online once someone passes away. Everyone wants to make their sad posts, share superficial memories, and act like they were there all the way from the start. But where was that same energy when she was actually alive? The truth is, when things got difficult and she was in the hospital, very few people actually showed up. The room was empty except for the only three people who cared enough to take time out of their lives to be there: her mother and two cousins. That’s it. Half of the people posting right now claim they are family, but they couldn't even find five minutes out of their day to check up on her or see how she was doing when she needed it most. It is pure disrespect to her memory to act like you were a part of her life now just for some online sympathy. If you couldn't show up for her while she was breathing, don't pretend to grieve her now that she's gone. Keep that insincere love to yourselves, because the ones who were truly there know the truth, and she wouldn’t want it either. Rest in peace. Grandma Roma We know who was really there. for u
